In the field of international and European law, our lawyers of Anglo-Saxon language and culture as well as French intervene with SMEs, SMIs, ISEs and subsidiaries of foreign groups wishing to settle in France and accompany them in their development. Our mastery of legal English but also of the rules of the Common Law allows us not only to advise our clients but also to verify that the instruments of French law put in place pursuant to an agreement subject to English or American law by example correspond to the intentions of the parties. In the context of contract drafting or corporate law, we work alongside our clients in operations abroad as well as in border disputes.

Consideration of international public policy obligations (anti-corruption, anti-money laundering laws, etc.)
Advising clients on the choice of applicable law or jurisdiction when drafting contracts, for example, or strategic choices during litigation
Practice of contracts written in English and according to Anglo-Saxon drafting practices
distribution contracts, share purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements and banking facilities

Our involvement in international litigation:

Mastery of international jurisdiction, ability to invoke the incompetence of French courts for the benefit of foreign jurisdictions and even arbitration
Mastery of European regulations and/or international conventions to govern the case. This type of question arises in particular during the termination of established commercial relations, the termination of a commercial agent contract, or even during the termination of an employment contract when the employee has been required to perform his duties in several countries
Conduct of proceedings before French courts but with appeal to the application in this case of foreign law (Swiss, English, or an American state, for example).
